Knit Elizabeth Zimmermann's Baby Surprise Jacket!  This is one of those patterns that has been knit by many many knitters over the years, but still seems fresh today.  We will walk you through this fun knit in two or three class meetings (according to the group and sweater size), using the new expanded pattern from Schoolhouse Press.  An exercise in trust and garter stitch, you will learn how to "read" your knitting, make buttonholes, sew short seams, and we will discuss variations for future sweaters.  This class will meet 2-3 times.
